Careers Advice

Sixth Form students are encouraged to broaden their knowledge base by taking exams in up to four subjects in Lower Sixth, then focusing on three subjects for Upper Sixth.

Our timetable is designed to offer maximum choice and flexibility, enabling students to study combinations of Science, Social Science, Arts and Languages as they wish.

We also accept students who wish to transfer from other institutions, usually at the end of Lower Sixth.
Many students come to the college because they feel they have outgrown school or are looking for something more challenging that will ensure they are better prepared for university.

During the two years students learn to take responsibility for themselves and become independent learners. Personal organisation, discipline, working to deadlines, sorting out priorities and obtaining an understanding of how best to learn all contribute to the student being fully prepared to cope with the demands of university study.
