Abbey staff and students know that learning is not just about studying - there are lots of opportunities to develop new skills, broaden your outlook on life and have fun.
You might join the College Council and help to organise the programme of social events which runs every year. Recent events have included a fashion show with top designer labels, and a basement cocktail party. Future events are up to you!

We also support students applying to join the National Youth Theatre.
We firmly believe in the value of raising awareness of local charities. This year, our Year 11 students supported a local children's charity, raising money and appearing on local radio to promote the event.
A healthy mind needs a healthy body! The sporting activities offered at Abbey are designed to meet the interests and needs of our students and include football, basketball and swimming. We also enjoy sampling new activities such as raft-building and climbing, with some exciting amenities close at hand.
For the business-minded, we run the Young Enterprise Scheme and this is very successful every year.
