The 'Abbey Factor'

The final of our 'Abbey Factor' talent contest took place recently in front of a sell-out audience at the Unitarian Chapel on Cross Street, just a few yards from the college.

It was a night where Abbey College Manchester's staff and students showcased their unique talents in the name of charity. Raising money for Francis House Children's Hospice, our final eight contestants sang and danced their hearts out, with their destiny in the hands of our four 'expert' judges.

Each contestant performed their act before four were eliminated by an audience vote, leaving the remaining artists to battle for the much coveted crown of 'Abbey Factor' winner 2011. The drama unfolded with our International Foundation Programme student Xue Feng Li coming out as the eventual winner after he captured the audience with his singing and dancing skills.

Over £200 was raised which was brilliant effort by everyone involved.
