This is taught in average group sizes of eight allowing teachers to give plenty of individual attention to students. High standards and exceptional teaching produces consistently good academic results.
The college offers a unique and highly successful one year GCSE programme for about 30 students who wish to transfer mid GCSE into year 11 or for students wishing to resit their GCSEs. The subjects offered form a core curriculum with a range of optional subjects and the course is delivered in its entirety in a year.
Students have a base room and a dedicated and highly experienced Head of Year to oversee the successful completion of the course. Students of statutory school age have timetabled Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and sports.
On completing their GCSEs many students are invited to join our A-Level programme.
