International students can undertake either Business or Engineering pathways on this pre-university programme.

This is a full-time course designed to prepare international students for direct entry to most British universities. It is usually delivered over one year. However, it can also be undertaken over either 18 months or two years for those students who benefit from a slower pace.
It is fully accredited by NCFE in line with UK Border Agency requirements.
Students have a choice of two subject pathways, each of which comprises Core Skills and Pathway Specific modules:
Business, Economics & Accounting Pathway
Engineering Pathway
Core Skill modules
All students must complete modules in Academic English,
Mathematics, Information Technology, and Presentation and Research
Skills.
Pathway Specific modules
All students must complete Pathway Specific modules in
addition to the Core Skills modules.
Pathway Specific modules are designed to give students a thorough grounding in the key concepts and theories they will meet during their undergraduate studies.
The Business pathway comprises business theory and practice, marketing, human resources, business law, economics and accounting.
The Engineering pathway covers physics, mechanics and
maths.
Enrolment dates
The enrolment time each year for our University Foundation Programmes is September. However, it can also taken place in January for those students doing the programme over 18 months.
