Originally established as a centre for students retaking public examinations, the college has developed tremendously and its local, national and international reputation has grown significantly.

A variety of courses to suit the needs of individual students are now offered: Two year A-level courses, 18 month A-level courses, One year intensive A-level courses, One and Two year BTEC courses, International Foundation programmes in Business and Engineering, and GCSE programmes.

The college moved to its current city centre location six years ago to cope with increased numbers. The building is modern, well-equipped and designed to provide the highest standards of accommodation and resources for staff and students.
