Abbey College Manchester students were extremely generous in supporting a call to help Manchester residents suffering from food poverty. Recently a group went to drop off the food donations to the warehouse of the Manchester Central Food Bank on Oxford Rd.
Abbey College Manchester Art and Photography students recently took a trip to Wakefield to visit the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. They were there to photograph and sketch the works of art on display, a huge selection of modern and contemporary sculptures set in the grounds of Bretton Hall.

Abbey College Manchester’s Examinations Officer, Keith Burgess, grew a very nice moustache during November to raise awareness for the Movember Foundation. This is a global charity dedicated to making a difference for men’s health.
The annual Abbey College Manchester Art and Photography trip this year took in the wonderful city of Valencia. Students visited the Silk Exchange, the Cathedral that houses the Holy Grail, the Fine Arts Museum and the Institute of Modern Art.
Students and staff showcased an outstanding array of talent at the annual Abbey College Manchester Winter Concert in aid of a local charity. Gifted performers took the stage at the Unitarian Chapel on Cross Street, in a bid to raise much-needed funds for Mustard Tree.
