Abbey Online is a lesson programme designed for students from Year 11– Year 13 to help boost their grades and address any gaps students may have from their learning during the Covid-19 lockdowns, over the last 18 months.
The courses are aimed at students who are currently working with average grade predictions, but wish to boost those grades and need extra help to ensure they can demonstrate to their teachers the grades they are capable of.
The content is not exam board specific, but we will cover the broad curriculum and for the subject taken and boost confidence in answering exam questions.
The teachers work with the students in the group to determine their gaps and weak areas and create a bespoke curriculum designed to help and support them.

“The online session have been going quite well. I really liked how Brendan taught us things we were not sure of. He would normally share his screen and explain how the problem is solved and would then ask me and Mashal to solve the past paper questions in turns. It was very fair and really helped me grasp what he was teaching. Overall, the teaching was of high standard and I am very prepared for the mini assessments now.” Year 13 Chemistry student
“Business Easter revision course was great for me to improve my business knowledge and my essay writing. He taught me how to analyse and evaluate the long essay business type questions so that I could write more details in my essay. We worked on the business knowledge that are planned to be assessed in next three weeks, and it was very useful to have a lesson with him. He made the extra notes for me to read again in my spare time and these notes were helpful for me to recap the lesson. Overall, I liked his lessons and am greatly appreciated.” Year 13 Business Student
“I am writing to tell you that the college arranged some Maths classes for me and another student. I am pleased to say that the tutor is really good. He goes over the topics that we don’t understand and explains everything in a good way. I hope that after attending these classes, my scores for the Maths exams will improve as we covered many hard topics that I was not sure about. Thanks a lot.” Year 11 Maths
