Abbey College Manchester is situated in the heart of Manchester city centre.
The College is within easy walking distance of the main public transport stations. Driving to the college is fairly straightforward but please note that we do not have any on-site car parking facilities. However, there is street parking available and there are several car parks within a few minutes walk of our front door, the closest of which is at Kendals on Deansgate.

The College Day
Classes start at 9.00 am and finish at 3.10pm, 3.50pm or 4.30pm. Each class is 40 minutes long and there is a morning break of 15 minutes and an afternoon break of 10 minutes. The lunch period for students is from 12.40pm until 1.30pm.
Registration is held at 8.50am and 1.30pm for Year 11 students and at 1.30pm only for students of Year 12 and 13.

There is a free Metrolink shuttle bus (number 3) that runs every 10 minutes or so from Piccadilly station. This has a dropping off/picking up point on King Street opposite the entrance to Cheapside where the college is located.

The closest tram stops to the College are Exchange Square (3 minutes walk), Market Street (4 minutes walk) and St Peter’s Square (5 minutes walk).
