Students gain entry to top universities

Results day is traditionally when we enjoy welcoming back students and seeing their faces as they open results envelopes and the relief on their faces when they see the culmination of all their hard work and how they performed in their summer exams.  This year is very different as no exams were sat and students have not been given the opportunity to really prove how good they are in an exam situation.  Students have today received the results that have been generated by the exam boards.

As a college we are pleased to report that we have received our best ever grades and our A/A* pass rate is 52% with an A* – C pass rate of 93.9%.  We are thrilled that students are currently   accepting places at some of the country’s top universities, including Universities of Manchester, York, Newcastle, Bristol and Liverpool to name a few to study a wide range of courses including Medicine, Architecture, Mathematics, Economics and Ancient History.
