Congratulations to Year 11

Abbey College Manchester is so proud of the achievements of our Year 11 students in this unprecedented and difficult year. They have all show great resilience and commitments to their studies and we are delighted that they have received the grades they deserve.
Yet again, our results far exceed that national average. An impressive 35% of examinations were graded at 9-7 (A* – A) with 90% graded at 9-4 (A*-C). This is against the national average of 26% for grades 9-7 and 76% for 9-4.
Liz Elam, Principal has commented “Many congratulations to our Year 11 students. We are all so proud of your dedication and commitment to your GCSE course and pleased that you have received the grades you are worthy of. The staff worked hard to award grades that we feel are fair and justified and as accurate as possible under these circumstances. We look forward to welcoming many of your back for A-Levels and IFP.”
