International Entry Requirements

Entry and visa requirements for international students wishing to study at Abbey College Manchester.

English Requirements	IELTS minimum 4.5 or equivalent, and successfully passing the college interview process	IELTS minimum 4.5 or equivalent, and successfully passing the college interview process	IELTS minimum 5.0 or equivalent, and successfully passing the college interview process

	A-Levels 2 Years
Age at start of the course	16 to 20 years
English Requirements	IELTS minimum 5.5 or equivalent, and successfully passing the college interview process
Academic Requirements	5 GCSE passes at Grade 4 or equivalent

	International Foundation Programme 2 Years	International Foundation Programme 18 Months	International Foundation Programme 1 Year
Age at start of the course	16 to 18 years	16 to 18 years	17 to 21 years

As well as meeting the course English requirements, all applicants must also successfully pass the college interview process.

All students with an English level below IELTS 6.5 and a minimum 6.5 in each area must attend Academic English lessons alongside their studies
