Abbey College Manchester is a thriving, successful independent college located in the heart of Manchester city centre.
As a College we are an alternative to the traditional school environment. The setting is more adult and informal (no uniform and students call teachers by their first name), but that doesn’t mean that our academic expectations are any less. Our teachers are A Level subject specialists, as they are focused on A Level teaching and the demands of A Level study on students. With an average class size of 9, students receive a very personalised journey while studying with us.
Our recent Independent Schools Inspection graded the college as excellent in every area. To read the report please click here.
“The school is highly successful in achieving its aims to guide pupils to academic success and to fulfil their aspirations. Throughout the school, pupils make excellent academic progress. Pupils’ success is supported by high quality teaching and through the effective use of assessment data which allows their progress to be monitored and support tailored as necessary.”
