Jonathan Syson

Jonathan is Head of Years 13 & 14, and a Biology and Chemistry teacher who has worked at Abbey for over ten years now. He also runs the Medical Preparation Enrichment, teaching ethical techniques to prospective medics; and the Dungeons and Dragons Enrichment, creating stories and problems to solve with creative students.

Outside of college, Jonathan enjoys tabletop roleplaying games and board games with friends. He also participates in historical re-enactment of Viking and Saxon England, volunteering at historic sites around the country using authentic clothes, tools, tents, and weapons to recreate historical life, work, and battles from between 793 and 1066.
