Nicky Cathery

Nicky has been at Abbey College Manchester since 2010 and has taught GCSE and A Level Religious Studies and A Level Philosophy and has written our own IFP course in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. Nicky has also been the Chair of Governors for a primary School in Cheshire and has been involved in the foundation of a MAT in her local town.

Before joining Abbey College, Nicky lived and worked in New Zealand and the US and has 25 years of experience working in education. Nicky has a degree in Theology from the University of Oxford and a Masters’ Degree from KCL in the History of Christianity.

Nicky enjoys travel, nature watching, and going to the theatre and has three beautiful sighthounds which she enjoys walking with her family.
