Abbey College Manchester get a Taste of Italy

Abbey College Manchester’s A-Level Business Students recently received some invaluable insight from Marcello Distefano, the Managing Director of San Carlo, the largest family-owned restaurant group in the UK.
Marcello took a guided tour of the college, taking particular interest in the business classroom and creative spaces, saying it brought back some fond memories for him. He then gave a very entertaining and infomrative talk to the students.
Principal Liz Elam commented: “Marcello’s visit to the college was inspiring and it was a great opportunity for our students to learn from him. The talk that he delivered struck the perfect balance and was exceptionally well received by all. This is a fantastic link for the college and one that will hopefully be developed further in the future.”
