A-level Results Success for Abbey College Manchester

Today Abbey College Manchester is celebrating exceptional A Level results today (10 August).

Our triumphant cohort of students obtained their results this morning, boasting an impressive overall pass rate of 100%.

Year upon year the college continues to obtain excellent results, with 2021 being no exception. More than a third of students attained the highest grade of an A*, 61% achieved A*-As, 83% secured A*-Bs and 97% achieved A*-Cs.

Nearly half of the students have obtained all A*/A grades in their subjects and will progressing to some of the UKs top universities, Durham, Manchester, Leeds, Imperial, Edinburgh to name a few, to study competitive courses such as Medicine, Economics, Accounting and Finance, Maths, Law, Computer Science and Chemistry.

Principal at Abbey College Manchester Liz Elam, commented: “We are exceptionally delighted with this year’s fantastic results. They are testament to the hard work and dedication from our students, alongside the commitment from our teaching staff to help each individual to reach their potential and enable them to achieve a much-coveted place at leading universities around the country. It has been a very challenging year on many fronts but the resilience of the students and staff never ceases to amaze me.

The college is also celebrating the success of its unique Combined Studies Programme and International Foundation Programme (IFP), for which both secured an exemplary 100% pass rate.
