Join us for an inspiring medicine afternoon at  Abbey College Manchester, where we will showcase our exceptional academic pathway to medicine programme for students in Years 12 & 13 and explain why early preparation matters.  Listen to talks from our expert Science Department Staff and Medical Application Support Team and discover more about our personalised UCAS medicine support.
The programme for the event is:
4.30 – Welcome from the Principal – Chris Randell
4.45 – What makes a competitive Medicine application? – Nigel Walker, Assistant Principal Academic
5.15 – Medicine Preparation Interactive session led by Head of Science Faculty – Paul Kelly
6.00 – QnA with ACM medicine team and current students  with the option to tour the campus
6.30 Event ends.
The Abbey College Manchester Medicine Preparation Programme

Our Medical Preparation Programme offers comprehensive support throughout the entire application journey—from selecting the right university to accepting an offer. Students gain a clear understanding of careers in medicine and dentistry, explore medical ethics and current issues, and receive expert guidance on crafting impactful personal statements. The programme includes tailored interview preparation for both traditional and Multi Mini Interviews, UCAT preparation, and advice on alternative medical pathways and how to make the most of the fifth UCAS choice.
