Outstanding Success at ISA Regional Art Competition

Our talented students have once again demonstrated their incredible creativity and skill, achieving remarkable success in the ISA Regional Art Competition. This year, our Creative Arts department celebrated an amazing five first-place awards and four second-place awards across a range of artistic disciplines — a testament to the dedication and talent of our young artists.

First place honours were awarded in the following categories:

  • Fashion TextilesRebecca with “Casino”

  • 2D ArtOllie G with “Journeys”

  • Fashion AccessoriesEmily with “Lucky River”

  • SketchbookZoe with “Sketchbook”

  • PhotographyZian (Alex) with “Toy Shop”

Second place awards went to:

  • Rebecca with “Haven”

  • Mika with “Peas in a Pod”

  • Aimee for her Sketch of a Knife

  • Felix with “Darkroom Demon”

The winning entries will now go forward to the National Final in November, where our students will compete against the best from across the country.

Reflecting on his success, Ollie G, winner of the 2D Art category, said:“I’m so happy and proud to win the area competition. This achievement means a lot to me and inspires me to keep doing my best.”

Fashion Textiles winner Rebecca shared her excitement:“The outfit was really enjoyable to design but took lots of hard work and time to make. I’m so excited to be going through to the final!”
