Marc-Gerard Cronin

Marc is Assistant Principal with responsibility for the Pastoral and Boarding provision at the college. He joined the college in 2004 and has had a variety of roles including Head of Sociology, Head of Year and House. He has also spent many years assisting students with their university applications.

Before joining Abbey, Marc studied International Relations and completed a Masters in Strategic Studies, the later with a focus on the development of India and Pakistan’s nuclear capability.

Marc lives in the Peak District and enjoys walking the hils with his family. In his free time he also enjoys reading and is an enthusiastic football fan and regularly attends matches.
