Students Rise to the Occasion at the Great Abbey Bake Off

Budding entrepreneurs and bakers at Abbey College Manchester recently organised and competed in the annual, charitable ‘Great Abbey Bake Off’. Based on the popular TV show, students from the International Foundation and new Combined Studies Programme conceived the idea as a component of the key skills unit of their programme.
The Great Abbey Bake Off raised much-needed funds for Cornerstone, a charity that provides support services for adults, children and young people with disabilities and other support needs.
